About Us

For my entire life, I have been good with my hands. Beginning at a very young age, I had to know how everything worked. I can remember “tinkering” late into the night in my grandfather’s shop. I would disassemble electric motors, solder old circuit boards and shape projects out of wood. I taught myself how to fix nearly anything by looking at things from the smallest piece; I even built a small-block Chevy engine a year before I had my driver’s license.

I loved fixing things as much as I loved helping people. After graduating high school, I enlisted in the United States Coast Guard. In the Coast Guard I learned the importance of pride in your work, and how that pride translates to the satisfaction of your customers. My primary job was search and rescue and federal law enforcement, with my secondary responsibility being ship and station maintenance. I was fortunate to have the experience of truly helping people while in the Coast Guard, and it is something that will always stay with me and something I continue to strive for in my customer relationships.

After my enlistment ended and I was honorably discharged from the United States Coast Guard, I worked for several small businesses over the next 10 years, primarily in property maintenance. During this time, and in addition to the time that I spent with my family’s business, I learned what it takes to run a successful small business that strives for excellence in customer service.  With the support and encouragement of my wife, I decided to start Profixit LLC in 2016. I could have never expected how well the business has done in the past few years. With the completion of every project, I am reminded why I started this business, I’m doing a job that I love while providing a service that makes people happy.
